The details of the world condition when

JESUS, THE MESSIAH, GOD RETURNS

Luke 17:26-30

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”

I- THERE ARE TWO MAJOR SIGNS of THE END TIMES:

A- JESUS CHRIST, OUR MESSIAH & KING will COME SUDDENLY,

when people do not expect Him to return. Most people will be going about

their normal lives and activities unaware of this time.

B- WHEN JESUS RETURNS, society will be degenerated and wicked, just as it was before the flood came and before our POWERFUL GOD destroyed

Sodom and Gomorrah.

II- HERE ARE FIVE WAYS TO PREPARE FOR JESUS OUR LORD’S RETURN:

A- PRAY / DRAW CLOSE TO GOD - Prov.15:29 “The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.”

B- LISTEN / HEAR GOD’S WORDS - Malachi 2:2 “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.”

C- WATCH / BE READY – Matt. 24:42-44 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if

the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched

and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man

is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

D- STORE UP SOUND WISDOM /STUDY GOD’S WORDS – Prov. 2:7

“He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;”

E- DO NOT COMPROMISE / DO GOD’S PERFECT WILL – Rom 12:2

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of

your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of

God.”

MORAL LESSON: God is so good and gracious. He is giving us many opportunities to

repent and be saved. THE GOD OF MERCY & HOPE loves those who love Him and to those who are willing to surrender, obey & submit to HIS PERFECT WILL.

PERSONAL RESPONSE:

1- Are we prepared to face JESUS on the LAST JUDGMENT?

2- What are we doing to prepare? Is it according to GOD’S REQUIREMENT?

I-ANG DALAWANG PANGUNAHING TANDA SA PAGTATAPOS NG KAPANAHUNAN:

A- SI HESU-KRISTO, NA ATING MESIYAS at HARI AY BIGLANG DARATING,

ng hindi inaasahan ng mga tao na Siya ay babalik. Ang karamihan ay abala sa kanilang normal na buhay at mga aktibidad na walang kamalayan sa pagdating ng oras na ito.

B- KAPAG SI JESUS AY BUMALIK, ang lipunan ay puno ng kasamaan at patungo sa kapahamakan, tulad ng panahon na bago dumating ang baha. Winawasak ng ating MAKAPANGYARIHANG DIYOS ang

sanlibutan tulad na rin ng pagtupok Nya sa Sodoma at Gomorrah.

II- NARITO ANG LIMANG PARAAN SA PAGHANDA PARA SA PAGBABALIK NI HESUS NA

A- MAGING MAPANALANGININ / MAGING MALAPIT SA DIYOS - Kaw.15: 29 ¨ Ang Panginoon ay malayo sa masama, ngunit dininig Niya ang panalangin ng matuwid.¨

B- MAKINIG / Pakinggan ang mga SALITA NG DIYOS - Malaquias 2: 2 “Kung hindi ninyo ito papakinggan at isasapuso bilang pagpaparangal sa aking pangalan, susumpain ko kayo at ang mga

pagpapalang tinatanggap ninyo bilang mga pari. Sa katunayan, sinumpa ko na ang mga iyon, sapagkat

hindi ninyo isinasapuso ang aking utos.”

C- MAGBANTAY / MAGING HANDA - Mat. 24: 42-44

“Kaya&t maging handa kayo dahil hindi ninyo alam kung kailan darating ang inyong Panginoon. 43 Unawain ninyo ito: kung alam ng may-ari ng bahay kung anong oras sa gabi darating ang magnanakaw, siyay maghahanda at hindi niya pababayaang pasukin ang kanyang bahay. 44 Kayat lagi kayong maging handa, sapagkat darating ang Anak ng Tao sa oras na hindi ninyo inaasahan.”

D- IPUNIN ANG MAKALANGIT NA KAALAMAN / PAG-ARALAN ANG SALITA NG DIYOS” - Kaw. 2: 7

“Bibigyan niya ng unawa ang matuwid ang pamumuhay, at ang taong matapat ay kanyang iingatan.”

E- HUWAG MAKIAYON SA KAMUNDUHAN / GAWIN ANG PERFECTONG KALOOBAN ng DIYOS

- Rom 12: 2

¨ Huwag kayong makiayon sa takbo ng mundong ito. Sa halip, hayaan ninyong baguhin ng Diyos ang

inyong pag-iisip upang maunawaan ninyo ang kanyang kalooban. Sa gayon, magagawa ninyo kung ano

ang mabuti, kalugud-lugod at ganap na kalooban ng Diyos.¨

ISAPUSONG MGA ARALIN: Ang Diyos ay napakabuti at mapagbigay. Binibigyan niya tayo ng

maraming mga pagkakataon upang magsisi at maligtas. GUSTO ng DIYOS NG KALUWASAN at PAG-ASA sa

mga nagmamahal sa Kanya at sa mga handang sumuko, sumunod at magpasakop sa KANYANG GUSTO

NA PERPEKTO.
